Subway Tile Walk-In Bath
A compact bath rebuilt as a tiled wet room: mini white subway walls, black-and-white hex mosaic underfoot, a low-curb walk-in shower, and a dark vanity with clean chrome fixtures.
About this project
This bathroom needed a full gut and a waterproof envelope before any finish tile went up. We opened the walls, updated plumbing and electrical rough-ins, then wrapped the wet area with Schluter-KERDI membrane so the shower could live as a low-curb walk-in. Walls and the shower curb were finished in small white subway mosaic in a running bond, carried floor-to-ceiling for a continuous look. The floor and shower pan got classic black-and-white hex mosaic that reads through as one surface. A compact dark vanity with a white sink and frameless mirror anchors the dry side, with brushed metal shower and faucet fixtures to keep the black-and-white palette sharp.
